Who should attend?

The ERBI Conference is the most successful life science and healthcare gathering event in the UK. Now into its 12th year, this gathering of leading life science opinion formers has become a major highlight in the European conference calendar.

What's different about ERBI's event?

Our meeting is a showcase of the leading products, services and technologies that are being researched and developed in a single biotech cluster and because Cambridge is the leading cluster in Europe, this is no ordinary showcase! The event therefore attracts decision makers from global pharma and big biotech - executives keen to get first sight of the latest developments from Cambridge. We deliberately keep the ERBI event small in terms of numbers of delegates - typically no more than 500 in total. This provides an environment conducive to informal networking (you'll never have the problem of not being able to find someone!) and it means we maintain the quality of the event in terms of the type of company attending (we focus on the bio-pharma companies) in addition to the seniority of delegate.

The format

The event is held over two days and has two main elements; conference and formal partnering. The conference element includes 3-4 keynote speeches by respected biotech influencers on topical issues and over 30 company presentations by Cambridge companies. The partnering element, held throughout the event, offers delegates the chance to attend pre-booked, validated one-to-one meetings.

Delegate feedback

"The conference is really well organised and has been a huge success. The presentations were interesting and relevant and there is a great opportunity to meet people from all walks of the UK biotech scene" Dr Malcolm Skingle, GlaxoSmithKline

"The success of this event says a huge amount about the strength of ERBI and the East of England in this field" Professor Trevor Jones - Chairman ABPI

"Finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease will take the best scientific minds, companies and financiers working together from around the world. Making these collaborations happen is central to the mission of Cure Parkinson’s Trust. Finding these vital industry connections has become easier than ever before thanks to partneringONE at this vibrant Cambridge event.” Cure Parkinson's Trust delegate at ERBI's">ERBI's BioPartnering Exchange 2009, Cambridge, UK"- Dr Joy Duffen - Cure Parkinson's Trust
